Divine Power

 HEYOO!! ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE IVE SENT MY OWN PERSONAL EMAIL haha 

I'm in Cartersville now! I'm at KSU a college in Kennesaw super amazing area!! I'm over just YSA and I couldn't be happier!! This past week WAS OUTSTANDING!! I'm companions with a great missionary! His name is Elder Lee he and I were in the same zone about 6ish months ago. He is that COOLEST! I LOVE MY GUY!! then he and I are training a new missionary his name is Elder Blake! He is a straight stud and is ready to work hard. 

FRIENDS AND FAMILY IM SO EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST! These past couple weeks have been the busiest times of my entire life! I absolutely love the chance I have to be able to meet and teach all these people! I've been changed out here! 1 amazing thing I've learned is about The Atonement of Jesus Christ both the reedeming power and the enabling! IT IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING EVER! while I've been studying this we had Elder Bednar call our mission for a Devotional. He spoke about Jesus Christ and about The Book of Mormon. He really hit on The enabling Power of The Atonement of Jesus Christ!! He talked about what we can do to allow that into our life and how we can gain that divine power through the Atonement and how we can be strengthened through the Lord!! As you know we finished the BOOK OF MORMON CHALLENGE! It was so incredible to find the doctrine of Christ and to see how the Book of Mormon can apply to me and how it relates to exactly what I need and to my questions! 

I know with all my heart that JESUS CHRIST IS OUR SAVIOR AND REDEEMER! He is the one who we can receive divine power through and He is the one who will strengthen us! GUYS! it is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!! 

This past week we taught a guy name Jett who came out by his friends who bashed us at the KSU campus but get this, he came to Church with us by himself and he asked so many profound questions and questions he truly desired to know the answer to! We also taught Ebow and he is so cool he has a stutter but is the sweetest guy. He is from Ghana! We put him on date for September 9th so we are stoked!! 

We also taught a super dope lesson with a member in the YSA that is now on a mission and his 2 friends are interested and we taught with him and to his 2 friends. They were so interested! Blake and Omkumar are literal studs! They are actually coming to Family Home Evening tonight with us!! I'm so grateful for the great people I've gotten to meet already here and the amazing friendships! 

I have been studying alot about Covenants and covenants (for you that dont know) is a 2 way promise we make with God! It is so powerful and special to me!! I absolutely love Divine Power!! It is so cool how we can be strengthened through the Lord! All in the Book of Mormon we learn how people are strengthened. This is a new challenge where we are searching for being "Strengthened in the Lord" I'm so excited because an Apsotle of God invited us to do this and so much more!! I'm so excited to continue to understand divine power and the enabling power of the Atonement!!

" The key to receiving divine power to overcome opposition and move the Church forward “is the covenant we make in the temple—our promise to obey and sacrifice, to consecrate unto the Father, and His promise to empower us with ‘a great endowment"

Consecration is such a cool and huge thing!! I have a talk I want yall to read! Also a great scripture!!

1 Nephi 7:17 

"17 But it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, according to my faith which is in thee, wilt thou deliver me from the hands of my brethren; yea, even give me strength that I may burst these bands with which I am bound." 

I love this! Even in our hardest times and even with Nephi he didn't asked to be saved from the trial or be taken out of that situation. But asked for strength and power to overcome the trial that arises or the affliction or heartache. I know that it is through the Enabling Power of The Atonement of Christ and through His Divine Power that we can be strengthened and that we can overcome anything thrown at us!! Friends and Family! TAP INTO THIS AMAZING POWER! STUDY, APPLY, AND LIVE!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

Transfer to KSU!

 I'm getting transferred to Cartersville and will be serving on the campus at KSU (Kennesaw State University)!!!! I'm training again with my friend Elder Lee, as zone leaders!

Here's what I've been doing:

District Finding: "In the Rain Version" 

This week people were rejecting us at a park and then it started to rain and the thunder was loud and the lightning was huge. Everyone went under a pavilion and we were able to talk to people and teach them there while it rained and they didn't reject us since there was no where for them to go.

This last P-day (preparation day) we had a giant water balloon fight. We also played water balloon volleyball, and water kickball!

I was able to go to the Atlanta, Georgia temple! It's the first time I've gotten to go since I've been in Georgia! Such an amazing experience! I felt so strongly the Spirit of God!

I love all of the people here with all my heart and these past weeks and months have been crazy busy! The work is ready here!! 

I'm grateful for the Priesthood! I had the amazing opportunity to bless 2 sister missionaries and I blessed that all would be well in their lives and in the lives of their families back home. We also gave a blessing of healing to a man in our area and he is now healed and feeling amazing! One of the Elders in my area got injured and I gave him a blessing and it was powerful! The Spirit testified to me to know what to say. I am grateful to be worthy of the Priesthood of God and to be able to bless those around me when they need it. 

I have taught lessons this week when God's love was so impactful and evident. I felt His love for them and I could feel their pain but I know our Savior has been through that exact thing. Jesus Christ is always there for us! He is so aware and He cares so much!

Teaching lots of people!

This week Elder Wold said that they’ve been teaching so many people! They include: Princess (who is on date to be baptized in September!), D'Amber, Edward, Doa and Edan. They also taught a lady named Cheri and her whole family including her daughter and grandkids. And they’re also teaching Andrel and Lisa who came to a picnic in a park activity last Tuesday.

He said that Zone conference was really good a few weeks ago and he learned to be a better planner so they can out plan Satan. He’s also getting up at 6am every morning so he can get more things done every day. 

He says he loves everyone and the missionary work is going amazing!
