☆HAVE AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE☆

 Hey yall!! Not alot of time to talk! Got lots to do! I just want to express my gratitude for all of you! I have felt the prayers and the Love!! This week I felt a very strong added strength from the Lord! I know that's because of you wonderful people caring so much about all us missionaries! These past 2 weeks have been so busy but full of miracles, special and simple experiences!! 

☆ Miracles: 

- We met this amazing guy named Matt he is an incredible man! We have taught him twice now! We invited him to be baptized and he said "Heck Yes" he explained to us that he has felt the Spirit so strong with us and knows that this is Christ Church! OH MY GOSH! It was so powerful! I have never felt so much love for someone! I've been praying for "Eyes to See and Ears to Hear" Let me tell you I had eyes to see and could feel the Love God had for him! As I testified to him about that love the Spirit encompassed us all! We all started to get alittle emotional. Such a tender experience.  Matt is bringing his girlfriend to the next meeting. He started to teach her what he's been feeling 😂 the dude is a literal stud!!

- we also met Cameron!! HOLY COW my man is so cool! He is really shy but again! GOD LOVES HIS CHILDREN SO DEEPLY!! as we taught the Plan of Salvation! We talked alot about families being together forever! It was so tender to hear him talk about how that's something he wants! We invited him to be baptized and He said yes. His only concern is that he works so much lol. We are so excited for him! We will shoot for November 25th or so. 

- THIS IS SO COOL! STRAIGHT SPIRIT!! 

We were walking as a companionship at KSU campus and alot of time we split up and talk to different people but stay in sight and sound of each other. I felt so impressed to talk to this guy sitting on a bench by himself. (Again I think the prayers about eyes to see and ears to hear have helped me feel these impressions) as I approached him I could tell he was down. As we talked I learned more about his family and his life and how he has grown up. I ended up teaching him about the Plan of Salvation and that we will see our friends and families again. He shared somethings with me and I testified to him of the love God has for us all and my testimony of the Plan of Salvation.  He asked further questions about how he can live with God and what he needs to do. I taught about the Book of Mormon and where it came from, what it is, and why it's important! The smile on Alex's face when we parted ways was the greatest reward of all time! Alex is a sweet Son of God who has such a tender heart and desire to do what's right! 

Special Experience: 

- I have been studying "In the Strength of the Lord" in the Book of Mormon based off of a challenge Elder Bendar gave us. As I have studied I have seen an increase in the Strength of the Lord in my service! The Spirit has been so evident and powerful as I am Obedient with Exactness. Family and Friends! Obedience to God is what brings us joy in our lives! I love the topic of having an eternal perspective I think it is so crucial! We need to remember our purpose and not get so caught up in the worldly distractions around us! 

- What does God need you to become right now? 

- How can you get "One Percent Better"(Talk by Elder Dunn) everyday? 

- What are you willing to take on for the Lord? 

☆ if you need help with these things, ASK GOD!! James 1:5 is so deep. If we lack wisdom or a spiritual gift or faith or understanding or whatever it is. ASK GOD! 

He will give it unto you if you put forth the effort.

The only way for these testimonies of our beliefs to continue to grow is to turn those beliefs into knowledges! As we testify more frequently about what we believe and know to be true Jesus Christ will change your life! I know and promise you that He is always willing to change you if you allow him too!

One Percent Better

 HEYYYOOO!! sorry this will be such a short email but... AMAZING MIRACLOUS WEEK!!! IM SO GRATEFUL FOR MY TWO WONDERFUL COMPANIONS!! THEY ARE THE BEST! we just had a grind kind of week! We taught 4 lessons a day and just found on KSU campus all the time. We found 3 new people to teach this week! So now we are up to 5 lessons a day!!

MIRACLES/COOL STUFF ;) 

1. MLC was this past week and I wont go too much into but I love this quote President Harris shared 

"To be truly converted to the Lord-> FORGET YOURSELF!!" 

☆ AHHH I LOVE IT!! as we focus everything we do to serve others and love we are being more like the Savior! The talk "one Percent Better" was amazing! We trained on it this past Sunday for our zone meeting and it's so cool how we can apply those changes in our life through the Enabling Power of Christ’s Atonement! I would heavily encourage reading the talk and making nessecary changes and improvements so that we can become one Percent Better at everything everyday. 

2. We found MATT, super cool guy I contacted on campus like legit he looks like an actor for Jesus Christ! Nice long hair and a beard. We gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon and set a time to meet this upcoming week. We invited him to read the intro and pray about it. Literally I promise you.... 30 min later he came back from the gym and found us and said " Hey guys I read the intro and I LOVE IT!! What more can I read?" LIKE WATTT! So we taught him the Restoration right there and invited him to church and activites and he is coming!! SUCH A MIRACLE!! and we joke because we have like a "golden bench" on campus and we keep finding everyone there!! I LOVE IT HAHA 

3. Chelsea and Blake and Omkumar are all doing amazing! Ebow is progressing well and came to a baptism so he feels more ready to be baptized. Robert, Omari, Marvin, Marc, Yacine, Devisha, and John! Are all amaizng too it would be awesome if y'all could continue to pray for them to feel the spirit more as they take our commitments and make them deeper and more meaningful in their lives. 

4. I was able to give a missionary a blessing and I've never had an experience like I did with this blessing. I had prayed earlier to feel God's love more evident in my life as I have tried to have ears to hear and eyes to see. As I spoke the Spirit was so strong and powerful and I knew what I was saying was right from our Loving Heavenly Father! The individual and I were balling crying. God's love had encompassed us! Such a tender experience. 

Friends, Family I'm grateful to be serving a mission! I'm grateful for the people I've met and have been able to teach! I'm grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement! I leave you with this quote from President Nelson as we all go back through the talks from conference to become 1 percent better. He talks about pure truth, pure doctrine, and pure revelation! This talk kind of sets the tone for all of General Conference and for us as we become 1 Percent Better. 

"The pure doctrine of Christ is powerful. It changes the life of everyone who understands it and seeks to implement it in his or her life. The doctrine of Christ helps us find and stay on the covenant path. Staying on that narrow but well-defined path will ultimately qualify us to receive all that God has. Nothing could be worth more than all our Father has!" 

The Doctrine of Christ allows us to become one Percent Better! SEEK, PONDER, AND PRAY! What you can do to improve, change, refine, and become even like Jesus Christ!! Remember FORGET YOURSELF and serve and love those around you!!

*Spiritual Foundation*

 WHAT IS UP YALL!!! SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS WEEKEND!! SO GRATEFUL FOR LIVING PROPHETS AND APOSTLES! what a treat it was to hear from them this past weekend! I have so many things I want to share but I will keep it short! I will share some successes, some trials, cool insights from confernce and more! 

First off Elder Blake and I are kinda quarantined because Elder Lee our companion possibly has COVID. So the last 2 days we have been quarantined and have switched off with the other Elders so that we can leave and go do stuff for our area. Should get the results for him these next couple days so that everything will go back to normal! 

* MIRACLES 

- We gave a blessing to a Sister Missionary who is trying to find answers to some questions she has and THE SPIRIT WAS INSANELY STRONG!! I just felt God's love encompass me and her! It was so comforting and such a great reminder! In General Conference they constantly said: “The first great commandment is to love God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength. But the first great truth is that God loves us with all His heart, might, mind, and strength!!”WHAT A TENDER BLESSING AND TRUTH TO ALWAYS KNOW! if you haven't felt this love! 

Friends and Family, I invite you to pray to your Heavenly Father and to ask! I promise you that as you do this and as you read the Book of Mormon and keep His commandments. The Spirit will fill your soul and will overpower anything else going on in your life to allow you to feel the depths of the love God has for you!!!! 🤍

- We met with our friend Ebow and he is doing amazing! We will be resetting a date for him to be baptized soon. 

- BRAD POSLEY GOT BAPTIZED!! a great man that isn't in our ward but asked us to Baptize him and the other Elders said we were good. He is a great man and has had such hard trials but has the sweetest sprint and strongest testimony! At his baptism a recent convert of 3 months spoke!  HOLY COW!! THE SPIRIT WAS STRONG! So grateful for these two and their desires to serve God and follow Him in everything they do! (Pictures will follow) 

General Conference was byyyyyy farrrrrrr the best part about this week. I LOVE OUR PROPHET!! WHAT GREATS WORDS OF WISDOM FOR US TO BUILD OUR SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION ON:

1. Jesus Christ and His Atonement 

2. His gospel 

3. The Covenants we make in the temple 

I LOVE THIS AND CAN’T WAIT TO APPLY THESE THINGS IN A HIGHER AND HOLIER WAY! I HOPE YOU WILL FOLLOW ME IN THIS GREAT JOURNEY AS WELL :) 

* I love the guidance on our Temple Covenants! We should be super engaged on what we have covenanted to do and why we covenanted to do it! Through these promises we will see an increase in power in our daily lives. "Endowed with power"

2 Nephi 22:2 

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation." 

HE IS OUR ROCK AND SALVATION!! I LOVE THIS! He is someone we rejoice about just like in 4 Nephi (there wasn't a happier people) WE CAN BE LIKE THOSE PEOPLE! LETS REJOICE, SING, AND PRAISE HIS NAME! HE IS OUR STRENGTH AND SALVATION!! 

"I plead with you to seek — prayerfully and consistently — to understand temple covenants and ordinances.”

“Spiritual doors will open, President Nelson promised. “You will learn how to part the veil between heaven and earth, how to ask for God’s angels to attend you, and how better to receive direction from heaven. Your diligent efforts to do so will reinforce and strengthen your spiritual foundation.”

I have so much to share but instead I’m going to use picture quotes haha! I hope y’all like them.

As we have our Spiritual Foundation, we are building up and know where we are headed! We have the goal in mind and as we have these two points that's how we make that straight line to get to God. I also love Elder Ballards talk, he really gets us to reflect and look at what is most important in our lives! "Lovest thou these more than me?" 

I also loved Brad Wilcox! 

"Repentance is a process" it is so divine and so inspired! We have both the Redeeming power and Enabling strength!! This is a powerful quote! I want you to let this soak in. 

" NEVER GIVE UP EVEN THOUGH WE SLIP UP" we all mess up but never, no never give up.

My question to y’all is! WILL YOU LET GOD PREVAIL IN YOUR LIFE!!!! 

"I only want what you want, not my will but THINE BE DONE" 

LETS FULFILL HIS WILL! If you don’t know His will, it was talked about constantly in General Conference! Seek, ponder, and pray THEN APPLY!! 

 I LOVE Y’ALL SO MUCH! I LOVE CHRIST SO MUCH! REMEMBER THE THINGS WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO! DONT LET A DAY GO BY WITHOUT BUILDING YOUR FOUNDATION ON CHRIST!! If you don't know where to start, turn to God and ask. Turn to where He is talked about: 

- Bible 

- Book of Mormon 

- Living propehts and apostles  

HE IS WAITING FOR YOU! HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU STRENGTH, LOVE, GUIDANCE, FORGIVENESS!
