HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

HEY EVERYONE!!!! LITERALLY LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!! Sorry I've been so bad about emailing. It's been super duper busy. Well it's been like 3 weeks so I have lots to update on but not enough time. Im still at Kennesaw State University! I have Elder Hegewald and Elder Mendes with me now. Elder H. Is from San Clememte CA. Elder Mendes is from "Recife" Brazil! He is such a stud and super fun to be with. He is still in his training so it's been great to all learn together!!

Okay! Soo I'm gonna update on only 5 people because they are the most progressing and because we have been changed to more of traveling Zone Leaders to help our zone out. KSU is slower around this time of year so not a whole ton of places to find so we are going to do exchanges/blitzes every week with all the Elders to help their areas and to find more people and to teach more people! We will focus 2 times a week on our area (pretty much just lesson days) we stacked all our lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday so we have about 11 lessons on Both days! Super excited about that!! But im more stoked to let you know about it next week when we are in full effect!

Blake Evans:

- Blake is a friend of a member who is on a mission. We've been teaching him for 3 months now. He is awesome and is more into now that we had his friend that would join him not be apart of lessons haha (he was holding him back) but Blake has a date to be baptized on December 2nd which is this week but because of this past week he had some things happen so we need to push it back more! He still has the desire to be baptized so he is all good.

Ebow Mensah:

- Ebow is from Ghana, he is a straight stud he is super fun and has been taught 110 percent of the principles of the gospel HAHA he has some things he is working on but will be ready to be baptized January 2nd!! We are suepr excited for him!! We go over and watch the chosen with him and re teach him the lessons. He reads the book of Mormon every morning and prays!

Cameron:

- Cameron lives about 40 minutes from campus but is at campus like everyday because of classes. He has a firm, strong, powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon! He even shared a couple copies with his family when we invite him to. He is ready to he baptized. He wants to wait for his family but we said he could be the example for them to come and belong! He accepted for December 12th to be baptized!!!! SO excited for him and his family!

Omari Miller:

- Omari is a track star and is the coolest guy! He is from Jamaica and had been taught before! We taught his simple in the first lesson and explained our purpose and set expectations! We talked a lot about the Holy Ghost (Which is a huge focus right now) we explained the role, testified of it, and explained how it feels! As we did so he understood and shared an experience! We talked more and told him about Baptism. We then felt like December 25th was the right day! He said YESSS then explained that would be the best day because that's when Jesus Christ was born that day and he will always remember it!! So excited for him too!

Matt:

The last one! Matt does not have a baptism date because he wants to finish the whole book of Mormon! He believes its true and from God but wants to finish the whole thing! He literally resembles Christ! Matt has a testimony in Christ’s Gospel and has a struggle with one aspect! We are working through it but he flat out told us he will be baptized in the next 3 months! Super excited for my man! He is in Alma 14 right now!!

Friends and Family, my heart is extremely filled with gratitude! I have wonderful friends and Family Family love and care for me! I have a Heavenly Father that is so aware of me and guides me and helps me reach my divine potential. I have a Savior who has literally saved me from spiritual and physical death! He loves me and allows me to use his Atonement to become better and to be strengthened! We have the Holy Ghost who protects us, guides us, loves us, and gives us peace and joy! I have an opportunity to be in Georgia to preach the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to the most outstanding people I've ever met! I get to invite others to change, I get to love and serve them! I get to be an extension/instrument for the Lord!! What many blessings we have!! I know with the Fullness of my Heart that This is Christ Church, This is His Work!! I know He Lives I know he Cares I know he knows you!! If you don't know that I urge you to pray to your Heavenly Father with full purpose of Heart to feel that love and I can promise you ,with everything that I am, he will answer that prayer through The Spirit giving you that love and peace and comfort!!

I read this talk the other day its called, "Bing" it is such a good talk and one that I would extend to yall to give it a read! It has helped me tune into my celestial radio and to have ears to hear and eyes to see God’s children how He does!! I have so much more I want to say but ultimately just know that I love you! I have felt God's love so powerfully on my mission for so many people I know it's real and I hope I can share to some extent what that feels like to yall! Jesus Christ has compassion constantly for everyone! In the new testament, Book of Mormon and even in modern times! Please tap into that Compassion! I'll end with this quote

(Elder Soares -> Oct 2021)

My dear friends, I testify that as we strive to incorporate the Savior’s compassionate example into our lives, our capacity to compliment the virtues of our neighbors will increase and our natural instinct to judge their imperfections will decrease. Our communion with God will grow, and certainly our lives will become sweeter, our feelings more tender, and we will find a never-ending source of happiness. We will be known as peacemakers, whose words are as gentle as the dew of a spring morning.

I pray that we will become more long-suffering and understanding of others and that the Lord’s mercy will, in perfect meekness, soothe our impatience with their imperfections. This is the Savior’s invitation to us. I testify that He lives. He is the perfect model of merciful and patient discipleship. I bear my testimony of these truths in the holy name of the Savior Jesus Christ, amen.

I love you! Jesus Christ knows you!

Doing well!

All the people we are teaching are doing well!

I was able to promise a man named Cameron that the blessings in the last 2 paragraphs of the introduction of The Book of Mormon would be his if he would find out if The Book of Mormon is true. I told him that he finds that out that he’ll know that Jesus Christ is his Savior as well. The next time we saw Cameron he had a big smile on his face and said that he knew The Book of Mormon was true.

Cameron and his whole family are taking the lessons and want to be baptized!

I don’t have any more time to write, so here are some pictures.

If you make time for the Lord in your daily lives, he will be there for you

HEYYY EVERYONE!!!! I want you to know that this subject line is true!! I know and can promise that if you make time every single day for the Lord! He will be there for you and He will STRENGTHEN YOU!!

- Pray to your Heavenly Father!
He is someone that loves you, knows you, cares about you, and wants you to grow into the person He knows you cam become.
- Read the scriptures (especially the Book of Mormon) you will feel the fruits of the spirit: Love, Joy, and Peace! You will be changed if you allow it to change you
This brings me to what my Mission Presdient (who was it NFL player) said about choices
1. We are free to choose who we want to be (choosing is a gift)
2. Always strive to choose FAITH in Jesus Christ!
3. As we Choose Christ we choose to change (Repentance is a gift)

We are free to choose, as we choose we should choose to follow christ and as we follow him we need to change our life to become more like him! This is from President Nelson!!
☆ " The voices and pressures of the world are engaging and numerous. But too many voices are deceptive, seductive, and can pull us off the covenant path. To avoid the inevitable heartbreak that follows, I plead with you today to counter the lure of the world by making time for the Lord in your life—each and every day. My brothers and sisters, I plead with you to make time for the Lord! Make your own spiritual foundation firm and able to stand the test of time by doing those things that allow the Holy Ghost to be with you always."
☆ We must choose the Savior!! Everyday build your foundation on Him and His Gospel and I promise you will see the miracles!!

I have so many miracles to share this week but have no time to at all. I want to just share about 5 people that came to church
- Ebow:
He is amazing, President Harris spoke in church and it was so good! Ebow truly felt the Spirit! We met with Ebow and President after to discuss Baptism. Ebow has been struggling but now feels more comfortable after we left the room and they hit it off and got it all sorted out. We now are working for Baptism again:)

- Matt:
Matt watched over zoom cause of work! But he is outstanding and he comes to institute every Tuesday and meets with us Thursday's! He is incredible! We invited him to be baptized and he said yes so we are working on a date with him too.

- Ari:
Is someone I found on campus and taught right there on campus! She came to church and we invited her to be baptized and said is that reasonable and she said yes!! SO we are working for December for her to be baptized.

- then Temi and Devisha came too! They both struggle with issues but we are meeting with them this week again super excited!

☆ Blake and Cameron! Are both studs Blake has a date for December 2nd to be baptized!! Super stoked about that we taught him so powerfully as a companionship!! He has been converted and changed!! Then we have Cameron who lives farther away but goes to KSU he is ready too we set a date for November 25th and accepted and invited us to teach his family!!!! SO EXCITING!! sadly we are passing him off to other Elders but OH HOW GRATEFUL AND EXCITED WE ARE FOR HIM!! and we had the chance to find him and to see him commit and change his life and see the gospel change his countenance and life!! It was spectacular!!

Anyway!! Such a great week! And such a fantastic week to come!! SO prepare yourself when I talk about this upcoming week with yall!! Love you all so much and remember I'm always here to talk even tho I'm crazy busy!! I'm a missionary for each and every one of you! I'm called by God to bless all on need and to invite all of you to increase your Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement!! I challenge you to look at Jesus Chrsit Atonement more! Both the Redeeming Power but also the ENABLING POWER!! as you study you'll be blown by what you find! It truly is powerful the Strength we can receive from the Lord!!
I love you all! Buuld your foundation on Christ and I know nothing will prevail or overpower you. Jesus Christ is the Light of our life, He is our Savior and Redeemer, He Lives and will always live, and most importantly He loves you and was sent to this earth specifically for you in your hardest and darkest times but also in your happiest and joyous times.
