"HE LIVES" & THIS IS MY LIFE!

 HELLO MY DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!! it's been 2 weeks and I apologize. I will strive to write every week this transfer. I'm sad to say that this is my last transfer of my mission. 😭😭 I've cried a couple times when people ask. I gave a talk on Sunday and couldn't control myself. 

First, I love this work! I feel Joy doing it day in and day out. There is no other thing I'd rather be doing. Jesus Christ is my everything!! Oh how lucky I am to be a representative of The Lord, Jesus Christ. I feel His influence daily. I feel His and Heavenly Fathers strength and guidance every single day through The Spirit. Second, I love this Ward with all my heart. It feels like home to me. All of the members! The friends I teach. I've known them way before I came on my mission. THIS IS HIS WORK AND GLORY! I LOVE BEING AN INSTRUMENT IN THE GREAT PLAN OF SALVATION!! 

I am losing Elder Da Silva. :( I love this guy!! He was a fun and hard working companion. We were very intune with the Spirit together! He will leave to Athens and my new companion will be Elder Almeida (from Brazil) 3rd Brazilian in a row. Haha I love them and their culture with all my heart. 

Recap/Miracles these past 2 weeks: 

-> CARLEY HOLT WAS BAPTIZED! SHE WANTED ME TO BAPTIZE HER AND CONFIRM HERE. SUCH A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE!! best thing about her is she's 12. Her older sister is 26 and left the church and is working to be a pastor. She was bashing against the church and carley said this, "She's just jealous that our church has a living prophet and hers doesnt." WHAT A STRONG TESTIMONY!! SHE KNOWS AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!! 

-> We found some amazing friends! As we have clustered and visited people in areas we Talk to literally any living person. We found a man name zenarby who's from Liberia. Super cool guy. Melanie and Kevin were awesome too. Then we met David, who's dad used to meet with missionaries!! Orlando [from Cuba] and Maria [From the DR] also tressica and Isabella [Interestinf story there.] Olivier [referall from a member] treasure [we met on the street, she was driving and I jump in front of the car and talked about chrust church. SOLID STUFF] then ranay was a DO NOT CONTACT. Spirit led us to reach out. Taught the Restoration and she cried and loved it. She said she's been looking for a church. God is a God of Miracles!! 

-> We taught Camille at a youth stake dance. She came our with her 2 friends and we taught about Fasting. We fasted with her on Sunday that her parents will have soft hearts!! :) it was mighty and powerful. 

-> The youth in this ward are literally on a different level. We are teaching multiple youth from their school. They come to church and love the gospel. 

THIS IS MY HOME!! :) 

-> This past Sunday we had 15 people come to church.

THIS WEEK WAS A WEEK OF MIRACLES!! I GAVE A TALK ON SPIRITUAL IMPRESSIONS AND HOW IT RELATES TO INVITING PEOPLE IN NORMAL AND NATURAL WAYS. THROUGH PROMPTINGS WE GET. I was able to share my testimony!! I'm grateful for the knowledge I have! I want to testify of my Father! I know He is real! I feel His love constantly! I know He sent His perfect Son to earth for all of us. I know He lives! He heals, strengthens, binds, forgives, and loves. I'm grateful for His sacrifice.

 I know the Holy Ghost is a personage of Spirit who also sacrificed the opportunity to receive a body so that we can have the constant influence and Companionship of the Godhead. I know He teaches us the truths of God. I know the Christ established His one perfect gospel and Doctrine on earth. I testify it was lost but we restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I'm grateful for this man and his willingness to consecrate His life for this great and marvelous work. 

I know the Priesthood is real. This is the Power, God has given man to act in His name. I'm blessed as I worthily use it to benefit, strengthen, heal, and even comfort others. On Sunday I had the opportunity to give 3 blessings to people struggling. I CANNOT EXPRESS THE LOVE I FELT FOR THEM. I SAW EACH INDIVIDUAL AS GOD’S BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT CHILD!! these experiences give me a sure knowledge and witness of His Divinity and Omnipotence!! HE LOVES YOU! HE KNOWS YOU! HE NEEDS YOU NOW!! please make the changes in your life He needs you to make. He's given us The Spirit and Our Savior to Help us. 

I know and testify that Joy is not in the circumstances of our life BUT... is in the focus of our lives!! Make your focus on Jesus Christ and The Fullness of the Everlasting Gospel! 

 

I love Him! I love Him dearly! Turn to Him

☆THE PURE LOVE OF CHRIST☆

AUGUSTTTTTT...... WHAT IN THE WHAT... 

I AM LITERALLY CRYING!! when I realized I had 8 weeks left I couldn't control myself. I don't even want to go home. 

~~ THIS IS MY LIFE ~~ 

There is nothing of greater value or importance then my privilege to Stand as He stands. This week I have felt the power of true conversion. I have felt true and Pure Love from Christ. I have seen and ministered to the weak and feeble kneed. I have cried and wept with those who are in the depths of Humility. I truly stand here as a witness of CHRIST AND HIS PERFECT ATONEMENT! I express my gratitude for this gift and miracle!! If you don't know, this gift has been the most meaningful thing of my life. I have had struggles and challenges in my life. Things that have been heavy and miserable. Times when I wanted to give up. THE ATONEMENT SAVED ME! IT STRENGTHENED ME! IT HAS CHANGED ME!! this week was full of miracles. Of having the opportunity to witness in the name of our Savior that This gift is for all especially the people we've met. 

Our friend Kelly Dyer. She came to church on Sunday and the Spirit was manifesting himself to her. She was a beam of light. Later that day we taught her at her house. We were outside and she was inside because we couldn't go in. 

We talked about her experiences and asked her to be baptized (she's has been taught for 7 years and loves the church) she broke down crying. She said she can't do it. She can't be a member. She feels unworthy. She feels like she's made too many mistakes and she needs to give up everything. WE TESTIFED TO HER WITH ALL THE LOVE WE COULD MUSTER. WHO SHE WAS [A DAUGHTER OF THE FATHER] WITH THE POTENTIAL TO BE PERFECT!! We wept with her we held her. Satan was working on her and making her doubt herself. We Flat out told her that and rebuked Satan (not actually but it felt like it) 

we said Kelly let's kneel and pray. She said i just don't know how. We said Kelly do you have Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. She said yes. Let's use that faith and petition the Father for a miracle. We knelt in prayer holding each other up weeping and crying on the doorstep of a trailer home. WHAT A POWERFUL EXPERIENCE. 

She received that witness. We are meeting her again tonight with the member who many years ago got her to meet with the missionaries. We will report. I HAVE NOT FELT SUCH INTENSE LOVE FOR SOMEONE. IVE SEEN WITH HIS EYES! 

Our friend Tony!! He was in jail for quite a while. He has read all the standard works and knows everything is true! He is going to be baptized on the 27th! He has truly used the Atonement of Christ to be changed. It feels amazing to love as He does. 

Our friend Carley is also being baptized on the 27th. She asked me to baptize her. She is a precious thing! Shes 12 and reminds me of my sister Katie, just a little different! I'm grateful for the love I've felt for this family too. The mom has been judged in the past for mistakes she's made and her tattoos. They are the most glorious people witb the righteous desires to follow our Savior!! The Pure love of Christ. 

We've had so many opportunities to work with the Youth. They are amazing. They invite their friends to everything out here. We are teaching many of their friends mostly the older seniors in high school. These kids are truly converted to the gospel because of the examples of these youth! Camille and Heidi are prime examples!! :) 

☆ I'm almost done with the Book of Mormon again this will be my 6th time finishing on my mission. I'm super excited!! I read Ether 12! HOLY THAT IS MY FAVORITE CHAPTER. but so is Helaman 5!! I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON AND THE RESTORED TRUTHS WE HAVE. As I read in Ether 12 to the end I've learned a lot. Verse 6 is amazing! We receive no witness until after the trial of our Faith. We need Faith. Fear not believe only. We need to Believe and act. Faith is a principle of Action and Power. We will receive the witness as we act and do. BUT IF NOT.... we will continue to trust in the Lord. Later it talks about Faith, Hope, and Charity!! WOW can't not get into it. 

I just want to close with my testimony. I'm truly grateful to serve. Thank you for the support and love. I feel it everyday. I pray for you! Please reach out to me if you need something. I know this work that we are engaged in is special and eternal. I know that my Savior lives and loves me and you. This is Christ Church and Gospel. 

I invite and exhort each of you to prayerfully consider and ponder on a friend you can share a restored truth with this week. I also invite each family to come up with some kind of family mission plan. An activity that might be coming up you can invite someone to. Or a family dinner you could invite a friend to. Maybe even any sports game. And let's invite in normal and natural ways. Don't hide your light under a bushel. Let is shine forth.

 I promise and testify as we live, love, learn the Doctrine of Christ we will have many opportunities to share His Gospel. My prayer is that you truly take this on and pray. Follow your impression and prompting from you heart and mind. There will be miracles as you choose Faith and not fear. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
