HEY EVERYONE! It's already been a week, WhAt ThE. So grateful for the chance I've had already to become closer to my Savior! Lemme give y'all a lil rundown of how my days go. I wake up every morning at 6:30 and I get ready for the day. Then I have class from 8:30-11:30 in the morning and afternoon class from 1:30-4:30. These classes help us learn how to teach, plan lessons, become more familiar with the gospel, and to help us better become a true disciple of Jesus Christ!
I love my district so much! They have taught me in classes and even outside of classes especially when we're messing around and talking. SO CRAZY the love and the connection you can have with people over zoom. Couldn't ask for a better group of friends to start the mission out right. Elder Bybee (my companion) and I have been learning so much on how to teach effectively and teach through the Holy Ghost, what an experience and blessing that has been. We've had the chance to teach two people through TRC (Training Resource Center). I'm grateful for my companion and his deep love for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I wouldn't want anyone else but him.
I went through the Gilbert Arizona Temple yesterday for my personal endowment, I can't express the joy and love I felt from this sacred experience. It will FOREVER be very special to me throughout my entire life. I want to testify that I know Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us. Jesus Christ is our Savior and only through Him may we have Eternal Life. I heard two great quotes in the MTC and I want to share them. " The Joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives." ( President Nelson) and " Find the HAPPY in the HARD." I promise that as we make Christ our focus daily and strive to improve while finding that light and happiness in our trials and labores we can experience TRUE JOY!! Have a great week!
