WOW!! THE LAST WEEK OF MY FULL TIME MISSIONARY SERVICE!! MY EMOTIONS ARE EVERYWHERE!
I. AM. GRATEFUL.
This upcoming week is going to be the most insane and positive and Joyful week yet. It will be full of love, peace, everlasting light, and JOY!!!!!
WE GET TO TEACH, LOVE, INVITE, AND HELP GODS PRECIOUS CHILDREN!
AHHH I CANT EXPRESS IN WORDS!!!! THIS IS EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!!
Okay I'll be okay. Let me share some cool experiences and Miracles and some thoughts from General Conference. Before I do that. Reminder. I fly in at the Phoenix Airport at 12:20pm on Wednesday October 12th. Feel free to come. I also will give a departing testimony this upcoming Sunday night, I'll leave the link at the bottom.
This week we were able to help a family and a wonderful beautiful daughter of God be ready for baptism.
☆ Nancy and her 3 boys -> Jeremias, Junior, and Jayden:
- they watched general conference with us and we had a fire lesson! We have set a baptismal date for November 5th. They are so excited and want to learn more and what to know for a surety it's true. They have felt the Spirit so strong so we are happy they recognize it. I've realized the way to use our members in missionary work. I'm excited to be that member when I get home.
☆ Lauren Fath [16 years old] friends with Moffitts. We had a bomb lesson with her. She is so ready and we invited her to be baptized. She accepted and we are working toward it. She has recognized the Spirit so strongly. It was CRAZY POWERFUL!! she watched general conference with us and we have a couple lessons this week. The Spirit she felt is un deniable. She is converted
We have a total of 7 people on date and hope to help 2 other families make this commitment to be baptized!! Such a special time.
☆ Tressica and Isa are working on Ocotber 29th. They have made many changes and watched general conference. She believes in President Nelson but has concerns but she's researching and is so happy and is understanding. She is a honest seeker of Truth.
☆ Tony went to rehab to continue his process of repentance! He is changed forever! He loved conference especially the music! He has some tough years ahead of him but will never forsake the truth he now knows!
☆ while on exchanges I met this wonderful part member family. The Davis family.
I TESTIFY THAT I HAVE NEVER FELT SUCH A DEEP LOVE FOR SOMEONE AS I DID THIS FAMILY. CHARLOTTE and Sister Davis! We laughed, we cried, we huged. It was powerful. I saw through Christ Eyes. Because of that I saw more of Christ as well.
¤ We had 14 people watch General Conference this week! What a wonderful chance for 14 individual souls learning of Christ and His Restored gospel through our Prophets today! The Spirit changes us!
■ The Spirit is the key in conversion! It is God's way of confirming, witnessing, and guiding us to TRUTH!! As we couple the Spirit and the Book of Mormon it is the most powerful tool for someone to come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. Because He lives and His Church and Gospel is on the Earth now because of a Restoration and a Prophet, who truly holds Celestial keys of his kingdom!!
■ GENERAL CONFERENCE TIME:
1. "We each have a corner to carry" I loved this talk. What a powerful principle! I'm excited to go back and hear the attributes he quoted of the 4 friends who carried the paralytic. We all have a part to play. We all have gifts and talents needed for the body of Christ and also for God's Precious children. How can I better carry my corner?
2. "In everything you do, you represent the Lord!"
POWERFUL!! no matter what it, we represent Him! How can I better stand as a witness of Him at all times, in all things, and at all places! I choose to not be ashamed but to Carry the Charge!!
I love my Savior and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be set apart for Him! Let us always remember how great are calling truly is! :) 🤍
There was such a huge focus on service and Sacrament!! I loved all those Correlations.
■■ CHARITY ■■
I love charity with all my heart. That talk by Elder Eyring is my top of the top favorite!! Charity or the Pure love of christ is something I've been focused on my whole mission. It is the greatest of all gifts. It is everlasting. Eternal. Perfect. Pure. This is the gift I would like to posses with me for my entire life. MORONI 7:48 hit with power to every fiber of my being.
JESUS CHRIST LIVES!!
THESE CHRIST-LIKE Prophets, Apostles, and Leaders witness that He lives and everything I've come to know about Him and His Church is TRUTH!! GODS PERFECT TRUTH!! I'm grateful and honored to wear his name on my chest. I'm even more honored to wear His name on my heart forever! As I remember Him! As I continue to take His name upon me! And as I continue to live a commandment and covenant keeping life! His grace is sufficient for me to continue to change into the person I have been foreordained to be! I know Christ and Our Heavenly Father love Eternally and Know us Perfectly!
This is me! I REPRESENT HIM!
